ABOUT YANTRA

Yantra is a monthly cacao concert where participants connect deeply with beautiful spiritual music in a heart-opening group of souls whilst sipping on delicious cacao. Its a meeting place for spiritual music connoisseurs and an experience that is guaranteed to leave you blissed out and deeply connected with the most loving and joyful version of yourself.  We are looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the music and sonic vibrations from these two passionate men who are balanced in their masculine and femining energies, and who share a deeply authentic and sincere devotion to the path of bhakti.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A lovely and connective event in the backyard of the Sacred Waters Sanctuary in SE Portland. This is an intimate event where you can be yourself, enjoy the evening and mingle with like-minded people also on the path of healing and self discovery. Its an opportunity for you to drop in and connect with your soul through the portal of cacao, a heart-opening drink that calms and boosts mood, and high vibrational music.

BIOs

Christopher Lionheart is a singer/songwriter whose music style is inspired by conscious alternative artists such Trevor Hall and Nahko, as well as devotional kirtan artists like The Hanuman Project and Guara Vani. He creates a warming blend of intimate acoustic, reggae and devotional sounds that quickly bring listeners into the heart space.

Christopher was born with a passion for worship, often leading worship for Bible studies and youth groups, until he started searching for his own authentic path to God – which led him to Kirtan. Christopher offers a unique and heartfelt fusion of Kirtan and medicine songs. In recent years he has gravitated towards the path of Bhakti, devotional worship and chanting, and it has become a cornerstone of his music and life. The deep resonance and power he brings with his voice helps listeners and participants to allow their own voice to open from the depths of the soul. His intention for his music is to break people’s hearts open to divine love and that they realize that their own devotion through song is a wide open doorway to that.

Gabriel Sky

Gabriel Sky is a singer/songwriter and Indian Classical and Kirtan musician known for his depth and devotion to the spiritual path through music. As a long-time Amma devotee, he recently led kirtan and bhajans at Amma (the hugging saint's) recent tour in Seattle. He brings worlds together with his unique fusion of heart-wrenchingly beautiful raga (Indian Classical) scales and awe-inspiring lyrics. He let's us remember that in each moment, every cell in our bodies is reaching out for the Beloved.

Gabriel is an Alaskan-born Portland native, and a part of the Sacred Waters Medicine Music Collective. As a devotional and ceremonial musician, Gabriel leads groups in prayers for healing, inner peace and transcendence. His dedication to the path of Indian Classical music is only surpassed by his dedication to the Bhakti i.e., devotion and praise to the Divine. We are blessed to have him featured this Yantra.
