We constantly find ourselves under the scrutiny of societal expectations and our own self-imposed standards. The inner critic can be relentless. The root of this is judgement, or "The Judge Saboteur" as I like to call it. We all have a strong Judge in our minds. The Judge helps us discern what is good and safe, from what is unsafe or undesirable for us.
However, the Judge often becomes overactive and can start holding us back from growth and from living a life that is authentic to us. On the flip-side of judgement, lies radical acceptance, a transformative concept that offers solace and liberation.
The Pitfalls of Self-Judgment
Many of us are familiar with that nagging voice in our heads – the one that critiques our every move, scrutinizes our choices, and highlights our perceived flaws. This self-judgment can be paralyzing, preventing us from taking risks, pursuing dreams, and fully enjoying life. It's a never-ending cycle that erodes our self-esteem and distances us from our true selves.

Society's obsession with perfection only exacerbates the problem. Celebrate Mistakes: Instead of berating yourself for mistakes, see them as opportunities for growth. Embrace the lessons they bring and acknowledge your resilience.
Surround Yourself with Positivity: Engage with people and environments that promote positive self-image. Limit exposure to media that perpetuates unrealistic standards.

Then make many tiny adjustments based on what you learn over time instead of waiting to put it out there until its perfect.
